Breaking the Silence
Editorial Illustration for GQ Magazine
Illustrations for GQ Spain, accompanying an article by Carlos H. Vázquez on homophobia in football.
The piece brought together voices from football players, journalists and LaLiga to open up a necessary conversation around discrimination, visibility and inclusion within the sport.
Our approach was to create a series of bold, symbolic illustrations that could sit alongside the article without softening the subject. Through direct compositions, tension and visual metaphor, the images aim to reflect both the weight of the issue and the need for a more open, inclusive football culture.
A project about visibility, empathy and the role of visual storytelling in social change.
