PEPSI REFRESHES WASHINGTON DC

Pepsico commissioned us to create an animation providing passengers with a glimpse into the vibrant culture, delectable cuisine, iconic landmarks, and breathtaking destinations that Washington, DC has to offer, all accompanied by a refreshing Pepsi.

The creation process involved a seamless blend of composition and motion using After Effects and cel animation techniques. We dedicated considerable time and effort to meticulously studying the various packaging options offered by Pepsi, ranging from the classic can to the elegant crystal bottle. We paid particular attention to capturing the distinct characteristics of each material, skillfully crafting the interplay of light and shadow to evoke that unique sensation when holding a Pepsi in your hands.

In addition to the captivating visuals, we also wanted to infuse the animation with lively and dynamic lettering. To achieve this, we experimented with varying the sizes of individual letters and their appearance within the scene. This playful approach to animated typography adds an extra layer of freshness and excitement to the overall experience.
